Contest Theme “The Tri-Five Years” - any vehicle from 1955, 1956, or 1957
Admission Fees Adults $3.00 (under 12 free) Early Bird Swap Meet Admission $10.00 Contest Entry Fees Adult Classes - $2.00 for each vehicle entered Junior Classes - Free

Awards Categories 1. Junior 1 Open Class - Ages 8 & under all work must be done by entrant 2. Junior 2 Open Class - Ages 9-12, all work must be done by entrant 3. Teen Open Class - Ages 13-18, all work must be done by entrant Adult Division 4. Box Stock - kit parts only; paint, foil, decals, flocking are OK, instructions displayed! 5. Modified Box Stock - parts from other kits OK, no after-market parts. See #4 above also. 6. Showroom Stock - factory produced vehicles like when they were new 7. Street Rod - from 1948 and earlier 8. Street Machine - from 1949 to present day 9. Custom - from any era with body modifications to give a unique appearance 10. Lowriders - replicates the “Lowrider” Style 11. Competition: Circle Track/Road Course - self-explanatory 12. Competition: Straight Line - self-explanatory 13. Light/Heavy Commercial - service vehicles (police, fire, trucking, construction, etc.) 14. Pickups/SUVS - Any pickup or SUV not used for commercial purposes 15. Small Scale - 1:26 scale or smaller 16. Large Scale - 1:23 scale or larger 17. Pro Street - competition inspired but street legal, must have mufflers and plates 18. Curbside/Slammer - judged as if parked at the curb, no interior, engine ,or chassis detail 19. Diorama - no electricity provided (may have battery power), no larger than 12 sq. ft. 20. Motorcycle - 2 or 3 wheeled vehicles of any scale 21. Miscellaneous - any vehicle that does not fit into any other class 22. Diecast/Prepainted - allowed with a prepainted body (modifications/enhancements, etc.) 23. Best Engine 24. Best Detail 25. Best Paint 26. Best Interior 27. Mid-America Summer Nationals Champion 28. Best Theme

The KC SLAMMERS MODEL CAR CLUB of Greater Kansas City will have a special tent set up for a scale model display both days on Labor Day Weekend!
This is NOT a contest - for display only!
We invite every modeler that has scale models that reflect the nature of this event to bring their model in for the display for all to enjoy.
Models are limited to Rods of all types, customs, rat rods, lowriders, and leadsleds!
NO billet! NO “modern” cars!
