If you or your company would like to participate in and support the 17th Heartland Model Car Nationals to be held on Saturday, June 21, and Sunday, June 22, 2008, we are making the enrollment forms available to you here on our website. Sponsors are the lifeblood of putting on this contest. It is their support, kindness, and generosity that enables the KC Slammers to provide car modelers attending the Heartland Contest with trophies, plaques, and a quality national-level experience. Vendors to the Heartland Model Car Nationals enjoy selling their products and services to a select group of avid and enthusiastic clientele. On an average, over 300 - 500 automotive model hobbyists and their families attend our contest every year. Spurred on by the hundreds of fantastic completed models on display, those hobbyists are looking for that special purchase so they can return to their model bench at home and complete next year’s contest winner. The forms below SHOULD be printable on your home or business computer, but if they won’t print in PORTRAIT format, switch it over to LANDSCAPE format and they should print then! |

· We welcome vendors and merchants of model car kits, resins, collectable automobilia, promos, die-cast cars, and related aftermarket and cottage industry products. · Eight-foot vendor tables are $25 each if reserved and payment made before May 1st, 2008. (Tables are $30 each if purchased May 1 or later) · Vendors may bring products into the Convention Center beginning at 6PM on Saturday, 6/21, for storage. Slammers will be on-site continuously throughout the evening and all night for model registration, judging, photography, and security. Actual vendor setup does not begin until 6 AM on Sunday, 6/22. (Use the Southwest door in the corner to enter.) · There will be NO early-bird admissions this year. · Doors open to the public at 9:00 AM on Sunday. · Contest Award Ceremony begins at 3 PM and shut-down follows. · Make checks payable to KC SLAMMERS. · Print this form, fill out the information, and mail it with payment to: HMCN XVII Vendors c/o Kansas City Slammers P.O. Dear Prospective Heartland Sponsor,
Automotive modelers, young and old, beginners and long timers, from across the nation, will be in the Kansas City area on June 21st & 22nd, 2008 at the Overland Park Convention Center to take part in one of automotive modeling's greatest events! In this, our 17th annual contest, the Kansas City Slammers Model Car Club is asking your support of the 2008 Heartland Model Car Nationals as an Official Sponsor. As a sponsor of the event you will help provide distinctive awards for the winning builders of scale automotive works of art! A $30.00 sponsorship will cover the costs of awards for an entire class. Your sponsorship will get you a business card size ad in the event day program, plus recognition as a sponsor in magazine event coverage! Furthermore, you or your business will be listed on the event sponsorship page of the KC Slammers website for 10-12 months. The Kansas City Slammers model car club wishes to give all participants a true taste of our metropolitan area. To this end we are also soliciting door prizes and "give-away" contributions. Items such as T-shirts and posters make great door prizes. Note pads, pens or key chains with your company logo will make great "give-away" items to stuff goodie bags! Anything your company can contribute to this end is greatly appreciated. Finally, the Kansas City Slammers invite you to be our guests.
