How many people can you fit in a Ford Edge? 5 if you want to create a Clown Car. Ford says its a 5 passenger vehicle, but I don’t think they were talking about adults. In any case, we managed to squeeze 5 KC Slammers into my car and headed to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a road trip to the Daryl Starbird Rod & Customer Show.
This venue is one of the largest, pillar free exhibit spaces in the country. The Starbird show fills it with around 1,000 hot rods and customs each year, so there’s ton’s of cool cars to see. They also have a demolition derby, monster truck exhibition, motorcycle stunt show, burn out contest, pin stripers, vendors, and who knows what else we may have missed. The best thing is that it is all indoors. Can’t ask for more than that in the middle of winter.
